Army Institute of Management and Technology Greater Noida recently organized alumni meet on 9th April, 2016 at Headquarters Uttar Maharashtra & Gujarat Sub –area Colaba, Mumbai. The meet was graced by Chairman Maj. Gen. Rajesh Sahai, AVSM, SM, COS HQ Delhi Area, Director AIMT Dr. Pawan Gupta, SO Colleges ,Col. Adhiraj Chaterji, Alumni of Faculty of Management studies (FOMS), Jabalpur and AIMT, Greater Noida .

This Alumni meet “MILAAP” is an initiative from AIMT to connect with its all FOMS alumni and further strengthen the bonds and build strong foundation of Alumni association, which enables the sharing of knowledge, ideas and mindsets and contribution towards Institute and society in large. Everyone shared their valuable experiences and views which were inspirational and quite a learning experience.

The main agenda of this meet was to fortify the alumni connections, especial emphasis on how alumni can give back to institute and help former students in mentoring followed by internship and placement activity.

Mumbai alumni meet started off with AIMT video followed by an introduction round of all alumni. Chairman AIMT Maj. Gen Rajesh Sahai congratulated all the 24 alumni present there on the day of occasion, he also emphasized on the alumni networking, build strong foundation of alumni association and support former students in their internship and placement activity . The event also had a glimpse of the Delhi chapter shared by Mr. Gireesha Nema ,Branch Head ,ITC Ltd. At the end chairman AIMT Maj. Gen Rajesh Sahai felicitated all the 24 alumni’s with lapel pins and mementos as a token of remembrance. Chairman AIMT also announced Mumbai chapter President Mr. Sukhvinder Singh from FOMS batch 1999-2001. .

It was a remarkable and memorable day in AIMT Alumni history, AIMT – FOMS alumni association started Mumbai Chapter with following members

• Mr. Sukhvinder Singh as President, FOMS Batch 1999-2001
• Mr. Gurudarshan Singh as Vice – President, FOMS batch 1996-1998 ,
• Mr. Suraj Dubey as secretary ,AIMT batch 2004-2006 and
• Mr. Sudhir Parihar as another secretary from AIMT batch 2010-2012.

The Mumbai Chapter alumni meet flagged off with a networking tea. Our alumni Mr. G.D Singh interacted with the students of MBA 11 and MBA12 batch and also offered internship at Antena Retail, Mr. Suraj Dubey, alumni from AIMT interacted with the students and also offered internship at Airtel, Mr. Sukhvinder Singh offered internship and placement for his company Johnson & Johnson and connected with HR head Mr. Vikram Singh of RMC company. The meet proved fruitful and worth.

The meet was well attended by 24 alumni ranging across various batches. Alumni right from the first batch to the last batch of FOMS Jabalpur and AIMT alumni mostly from MBA07 batch and MBA01 and MBA02 batch.

AIMT reiterate that Alumni are integral part of the Institute. We all are thankful to the Alumni’s and hope that this effort of ours to build a bond stays.
